CERAMIC ART VIRTUAL MUSEUM "MINO-YAKI"
(Kasugai-shi,Aichi,Japan)
For 1,000 years smoke has risen continuously from the kilns of MINO.
Most of all it was the potter of the Momoyama period who combined great
freedom of spirit with a positive receptivity to techniques from overseas,
without forfeiting their own techniques. They were the ones who created a
new Japanese plastic art form. And so today MINO-YAKI base in the spirit
of Momoyama. Through this, ceramic art MINO-YAKI has became more popular
and more modern in and outside Japan.I am exhibitting modern MIYO-YAKI
works in this museum. Plese pleasure.
