Hi.

Were you sucessful running the compiled program?
I think I saw a Sparc version at the usual site.
Since the *your* compiled version cannot find the fonts(among other 
errors), maybe trying to run the compiled version is 1st step to take, IMHO.
And see whether it can find the required fonts or not.

I presume that the already compiled version supposed to work, maybe you 
can check you fonts directories once again to make sure they are in the path.

I do not own a Sparc machine, so I can not help you on other errors. Even 
though on HP it worked.
