Well after some more experimenting I have almost got Mosaic-2.4-l10n-0.sparc-cjk working with 4.1.3-JLE1.1.3. I had forgot to do a bldfamily. I now have identical results under the U.S. and JLE versions of 4.1.3. The document title correctly displays Kanji but the body does not. All ASCII data is displayed correctly. The File view source window correctly displays the source html complete with Kanji. Anybody have any ideas? I guess my next step is to get the source code and do a little debugging. Hope somebody has an answer before I get too far down that road. Hope somebody out there can shed some light on my Mosaic-2.4-l10n-0.sparc-cjk problems. Has anybody gotten Mosaic-2.4-l10n-0.sparc-cjk to successfuly display Kanji using Kanji openwindows 2.0 and 4.1.3-JLE1.1.3? When ever I access a html containing Kanji and Mosaic ties to load the JIS fonts, Mosaic gets an I/O error from the X server and aborts. Error is: XIO: fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe) on X server ":0.0" after 2752 requests (2751 known processed) with 0 events remaining. The connection was probably broken by a server shutdown or killclient. I can get Mosaic-2.4-l10n-0.sparc-cjk to work correctly under standard single-byte Motif and Twm. But alas I need a Kanji window manager. I suspect the problem is with openwindows. I can almost get Mosaic-2.4-l10n-0.sparc-cjk to work under the non-JLE version of 4.1.3 using openwindows. The Document title correctly displays Kanji but the main display window does not. If I use the file view source option to display the html source it displayes correctly (i.e. Kanji). Has anybody tied the Japan localized version of Solaris 2.3?
