Could any one of this discussion list tell me how to install
Mosaic-2.4-l10n for reading chinese in GB, HZ, Big5?
I've had tried to build Mosaic-2.4 without TDM/HDF and WAIS.
The patches was successfully installed, too. The executable binary
file Mosaic in the directory Mosaic-2.4/src could be started,
but without the facilities for selecting the chinese fonts, though I
installed the chkan16/16B/24-Fonts and made `mkfontdir ~/chinese-gb`
to the X server before. The chinese files in http://ifcss.org:8001/...
could not be resolved.
What was to be done yet? What was wrong?
Thanks in advanve.

I found out that it's a problem with my workstation. I installed the fonts
for cxterm under OpenWin, which works fine with my cxterm but not with
mosaic. When I switched to another workstation on our local network, mosaic
could find the fonts. It's weird!
However I found the Chinese characters don't look as good as they appear on
cxterm. Does anyone notice that?
