k14.bdf を JIS X 0208-1983 から JIS X 0208-1990 にするパッチです。 既に同じようなものを誰か作って流していたとしたら、ごめんなさいです。
JIS X 0208-1990 では、-1983 に対して以下の2文字が追加されました。
8405 凜 8406 熙この2文字を、元の k14.bdf から、copy & paste & 3ドット追加で、 デッチあげたものです。 フォントのデザインが気にくわない方は、好きにハックして下さい (^_^;)。 ものが k14 だけに、
「凜」と「凛」 「熙」と「煕」や「熈」の区別が画面上判るかどうかは疑問ですが、ま、気分の問題ということで。
ちなみに、蛇足ながら、RFC-1468: Japanese Character Encoding for Internet Messages (関係者の皆様、お疲れさまでした) では、
The JIS X 0208 standard was revised in 1990, to add two characters at the end of the table. Although ISO 2022 specifies special additional escape sequences to indicate the use of revised character sets, it is suggested here not to make use of this special escape sequence in ISO-2022-JP text, even if the two characters added to JIS X 0208 in 1990 are used.となっています。
