J96 - Japanese Language Dojo
(Boston, MA. USA)
J96 is a public service web site, published by Rose Corp's Kanji Study Group. The site is designed to serve the general English speaking population who are trying to master the written aspects of the Japanese language. The site includes many sections of a Japnese textbook, which does not require a Japanese operating system to view the Japanese characters. Kana are studied in depth, and an especially scholarly study of the Kanji is achieved by cross-linked etymological references and cross-linked example compounds. Stroke order is taught for each character as well.
