TOPPAN Printing Co., Ltd. has started a "Cyber Publishing Japan" experimental server in collaboration with Keio University. "Cyber Publishing" refers to network-based publishing and information providing. Participants from various business sectors, including publishers, a news agency and manufacturers, are jointly exploiting the Internet as a proving ground of future activities.
The current members are as follows:

TOKYO-TELEPORT

The Tokyo Teleport server is managed by the Tokyo Teleport Center Inc.(TTC) that the Tokyo Metropolitan Government(TMG) established in cooperation with the private sector in order to create an information and telecommunications hub in Tokyo.
Presently, this server provides information on the upcomimg World City Exposition 1996, the TOKYO METROBULLETIN, TMG Japanese language press release, and a TTC Inc. guide.
In the future, this server will grow to include up-to-date information on the multi-media experiments taking place at the Waterfront Sub-center, as well as other fascinating events going on in the Tokyo region.

Market Information Database "NAPASS for Web" for World Wide Web
Keio University,Faculty of Environmental Information, Fujisawa shi,Kanagawa ken, Japan
A vegetable and fruits market information database "NAPASS for Web" for World Wide Web (WWW) service has been developed. The system integrates an existing command-driven database "NAPASS (Nationwide Agricultural products Price Analysis Support System)" and a newly developed WWW interface using FORM Tag function of HTML. Although the WWW interface for NAPASS provides an easy operation graphical user interface (GUI) with visualization of retrieved data, the development of the WWW interface was reasonably simple. Please feel free to use this system.
